“My nephew went there this week and ordered 3 carne asada burritos, to his disgust! He found a hair ball in it. The cashier and cook denied any guilt and did nothing . The health department should be involved . This is the most disgusting thing I have ever heard of . No restaurant should treat the customers like this . A plain refund would have been accepted. My nephew works very is a kind and honest man . He works hard and owns his own business. There is no reason for him to be accused of performing this unthinkable task . Shame on you for treating customers like this!!!“

“I love eating here. My go to is Carne asada fries which are ALWAYS LOADED AND ALWAYS DELICIOUS.
The staff surprised me when they were friendly compared to trying out Nico’s on Sunland Gin. Nico’s service was awful, the fries were sad and the lady working the intercom was NOT friendly.
Filiberto’s on Battaglia is definitely up top in food and service through every experience I’ve had there.
The only downside for me is that they close too early 😫 I know I shouldn’t be eating so late. Anyways last week I wanted their fries and decided to give the Filiberto’s in Casa Grande at the Promenade a try. I’m never going back to that location. Skimpy fries, half of what I usually get at Filiberto’s in AZ City AND the meat looked dehydrated and tasted old and the red sauce was just hot and had no flavor. I was sooooo disappointed. I’ll never cheat on you again AZ City Filbertos 🙂‍↕️🫶🫣“

“The man working at the counter was friendly and helpful. He gave us a menu to review and we ordered at the counter. The same gentleman delivered our beautifully presented plates. My husband and I ordered the same thing (it's a good thing we did too because neither of us had any left to share) Deshebrada enchiladas 🤤. They were creamy and spicy. Paired with fluffy rice and rich beans. The baby ordered a quesadilla with fried and a slice of rice. It was way to much food for her but she happily tackled what she could!“

“We heard Nico's is an excellent Mexican restaurant. This location is exceptional, and have to admit it truly is. We stopped for breakfast burritos which 3 of us ordered with the fourth ordering of us ordered menudo. Not one complaint. Everyone was very happy.“

“My first time here and I enjoyed it. The chips and salsa were brought automatically and were free (they were okay). I ordered a small taco salad with ground beef and it came with pinto beans which were quite good. Looking over the fairly extensive menu there was probably something for everyone at decent prices. I would have liked more cheese and spice on my salad, but it was good and I ate the whole thing. Service was great even though the place was filling up rapidly at 1130am which is always a great sign!“

AND the service is outstanding they went above and beyond I would highly recommend them too anybody if your wondering what should you get ,try the strawberry's and creme'e it is the best lil snack I ever had before it's only 8 bucks and it has gorilla in the bottom of it I'll be going back daily for one of those :) imyou can even pre order them to go Incase your on your lunch break and don't have a lot of time they are extremely fast and efficient and get you in and out of there in minutes. I d rate them 10/10 ❤️ they close at 830 but still will take orders if you call ahead too pre order :) they even waited 10 min for me to drive there from my house to pick it up at 835pm there the best!!“

“We ordered The General pack with a mix of asada and pollo tacos. We also ordered a 4 taco pack for the kids. Everything was fresh and well seasoned. The service was both fast and friendly. We will be ordering again very soon!“

“I got to say the place is legit - I think it is just the simplicity of how the food is cooked. The carne asada mesquite flavor is just there no seasoning or marinate simply salt and pepper. If you know tacos like me, you know the salsa gives the flavor to the taco. The Cabeza tacos have that Tijuana Flavor. (These are by far my favorite)The carne asada tacos get close to just need a little something but what makes them tacos great is the hand made corn tortillas it just adds that special touch to the tacos. Also the menudo is by far the best menudo (even better than Manuel's) specially with those corn tortillas just melting in your mouth. (Kudos to whoever makes them) - and if you add the service always cordial and with a smile along with the clean tables outside if you want to eat with this nice cool weather, this is my new place to eat. 🤤“

They have some franchise specific menu items that you wont find elsewhere, the salsas are way better, different agua fresca flavors such as cucumber, and the food is prepared way above expectations of the average Filiberto’s.“
