Fun stop. Great shopping. The museum is a fiver and there is plenty to see and read. I mean I would be hard pressed to RECOMMEND a special stop, but if you need to gas up, stretch, get some goodies? You're there - check the museum out
Plenty of parking, friendly staff, lots of souvenirs and such inside, and a Dairy Queen that serves hot food. There's also truck parking. This place is good for a quick stop, or a longer break to stretch your legs.
The Thing is in a “museum” and they charge to get in. Too bad…would’ve enjoyed seeing it but totally not gonna pay actual money to see a random roadside attraction. Employees were nice though
