About Pie Box

Pie Box is a hidden gem located in Black Canyon, with some saying it serves some of the best pie in all of Arizona. While the parking lot is a bit tight and some find it a bit pricey, it is a destination many feel is always worth it. There is plenty of seating inside and some tables outside with a great view. Behind the building there is a little sitting area by a waterfall and some walking paths in adorable little gardens, where dogs are allowed. It is an amazing and fun stop to do a little shopping, grab some lunch, and take a pie home.

The service is great with friendly and attentive staff. The Pie Box offers a lot of selections from cream pies to crumble. Specific pies praised include the Coconut Cream Pie, which is well balanced, not too sweet, and not heavy, with a prominent coconut taste. The key lime pie is a favorite for many, described as a nice delicate pie packed full of flavor. Other recommended pies are the apple crumble, the cherry pie, pecan pie, chocolate cream pie, Tennessee lemon pie, chocolate pie, JD pecan pie, Lemon Meringue Pie, and sugar free chocolate fudge. The pies are delicious, freshly made, generous in size, and very tasty.
