Great spot, one of my favorites but not as well maintained as it was when it was all coming together some years back. Lot of other people know this spot now too which isn’t necessarily a bad thing but keep your damn dog on a leash and pick up after it. We don’t find it cute, or funny. The dog park is literally right next door at rotary. Yet yall treat the homeless like scum. First time here. Friendly staff, great drink prices, fabulous view.
Went in for a drink asked for my card which expired1/26 from mn forgot to grab my 2026 card would not serve us crazy!!!!

The American Legion is a fun restaurant with a great atmosphere, located near the Colorado River. It offers excellent Friday fish fry with three large pieces of fish and fries. The service is quick, and they have cold beer. The restaurant has a veterans memorial, clean bathrooms, an ATM, and AMI radio. The staff, including Amy and Patty, are friendly and welcoming. Prices are reasonable, and they have a dock for those who arrive by boat.
