“Quick stop in for some local band support, my wife had a few margaritas and liked them enough to mention them. The bar can be cramped with folks watching the band but they've got a big outdoor area with seating and such which was nice.“

“First time there... It was an hour before closing. The place was nice and clean. There were 3 other young men in there which was fine with me. I was the only female in the place.
The bartender and she recommended maybe coming back on saturday night which I will do other than that.I have no complaints.Drinks were good didn't eat.“

“This is the nicest bistro type establishment in the tri-state area. We like it as an impromptu or for a planned nice place to just enjoy. Appetizers are to die for, Kay is so enamored with the crab cakes she just doesn't try any thing else. I have tried several and have been pleased with every one. Service is outstanding and we are particularly fond of Jessica. We have dined at many of the big chef star restaurants across the country and find Black Bear Bistro holds it's own a a pleasant albeit a more casual venue which certainly is worth visiting and enjoying the easy ambiance.“

“Really good burgers!! usually always have a good experience. The chicken bacon ranch quesadilla is real good too. I’ve tried a lot of stuff on the menu. I highly recommend these two“

“Great spot, one of my favorites but not as well maintained as it was when it was all coming together some years back. Lot of other people know this spot now too which isn’t necessarily a bad thing but keep your damn dog on a leash and pick up after it. We don’t find it cute, or funny. The dog park is literally right next door at rotary. Yet yall treat the homeless like scum. Your dog is more of a public nuisance than those people ever could be, and owners like you are more of an embarrassment than those down on their luck “appear” to be. That’s not the kind of crap our vets went to war for!! I see people come fish here but you probably won’t catch much with how busy it is anymore; the wildlife has gotten smart and skittish. Usually pretty solid people hang out there 👍 hope this spot stays around for a while. Lots of bugs at this location these days, but I suppose that’s most of the parks. This review is mostly about the memorial area itself/beach area since I couldn’t find it specifically to comment about. I’ve never dined at legion specifically lol.“
