“What a cool find! Wanted lunch on the drive home from Sedona to San Tan Valley and got off of Hwy 17 looking for a place and saw the sign for Babe’s. It’s always fun finding a place well-known and loved by locals and that’s Babe’s. After having so much beef and ribs on our three day road trip we decided to not take advantage of Babe’s cowboy menu and instead went for the battered cod fish sandwich. Oh my. Large portion of crunchy battered cod served up with one of a whole variety of available sides. My wife had the “freedom fries” (seasoned French fries) and I have the “Jo Jo Fries (“Broasted” chunky steak fries). Cool western vibe atmosphere, fast friendly service, good prices, good experience. “We went in kinda late on a Monday night for a special occasion dinner and we had the whole place to ourselves. Food and service were both incredible - particularly considering we were the 4-top that showed up 90 minutes before close on an obviously sloooow night. Loved the complimentary cornbread skillets. Entrées were superb all around - even the kids meal ribeye... who has a kids meal ribeye!? It was so good.“
