Had ribeye on the bone with chile verde (did not know it was a hatch pepper with amazing melted cheese) on top of the steak, which was juicy and cooked perfectly. The cucumber margarita was delish as well. Bringing friends back here... great all around..”

The guy who was working in the front, possibly the owner, was friendly and nice. The place was clean and set up for modern hosting events for like after school football, softball sport event events for the team. They do sell beer and seltzers.”

“When in Douglas and in doubt, grab this Sonoran hot dog. While we enjoyed the extra extra crispiness of the bacon dog, the regular version is delicious too. Also, you can't beat the price at this food truck, making it a win-win!”

“We got food from this place today. It was the first time I have had it and it was absolutely amazing. It did not taste like restaurant food. It tasted like your Mexican friend invited you over to their grandmother's house for a nice Sunday dinner. I had pot roast cooked with green chilies, tomatoes, potatoes and onions. The drippings were at the same time reminiscent of the pot roast we ate in the south yet totally different with a mild spicy heat and a depth of character not found in a roast I would have ate growing up in an Anglo home. The beans and rice were amazing. I also had a tortilla soup that was one of the best I have ever had. I look forward to eating this again.”

“Anyone who doesn't like the food in this restaurant has no appreciation for good Mexican food. Everything is always excellent especially their taco salad with chicken which ranks best of any I have had in all the Mexican restaurants I have visited throughout the country. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated in a very old, historic building. The city of Douglas is fortunate to have this wonderful restaurant for the locals and visitors and I hope it will continue to thrive.”

Despite how busy it was, she treated us politely and kindly and was very attentive. She took the time to explain each item on the menu to make sure we were happy with our choice. “What can one say? It's Subway, folks. It used to be cheaper, but didn't everything? I miss the bygone era of $5 footlongs. However, it still beats making it yourself. The staff here have always been very nice.”

“An excellent neighborhood dive bar. Pool tables and lots of televisions. We did not have the food but they were doing a good takeout business while we were there. Drinks were good and prices were low. Ask for the 5 Minute Margarita!”

“We love this place! The food is awesome--I've tried a lot of different menu items, and everything is always terrific, very generous portions and fresh! And the staff...can't say enough good about them. Always courteous, pleasant and soooo helpful! One of our favorite places to eat (and we always come home with a LOT of leftovers!)”

“What a neat place. Great to get some pictures. Stained glass in the lobby is beautiful. Food was really good. Burgers were massive. I got the butter chicken it was delicious. Prices were so reasonable too! Lunch for 6 adults was $150.”

“Didn't pay much attention to the atmosphere. Was waiting to get loaded down the street, and the lady there recommended this place. All in all, the food was good, epic portions of meat on tacos and burritos, homemade tortillas. Salsa though, had an overly tomatoey taste, but was still good. Will definitely be back”
