“Great food, nice staff, homey atmosphere and clean as a whistle! My husband ordered their ceviche which was full of fish and shrimp and was very flavorful. I ordered a platter which was a torta of fish, shrimp, bacon, tomatoes, cheese and a mild chili pepper. It's a 12 inch sandwich that comes with a side of fries, so half the sandwich and a couple of fries were enough for me. The flavors were fantastic. We would highly recommend this place!”

“What an extremely pleasant surprise — this place turned out to be a fantastic pizza and wings spot! We walked over from the Best Western as a group during our annual motorcycle ride, and the whole team took excellent care of us.
The combo of wings and pizza was outstanding. Highly recommended!”

“Anyone who doesn't like the food in this restaurant has no appreciation for good Mexican food. Everything is always excellent especially their taco salad with chicken which ranks best of any I have had in all the Mexican restaurants I have visited throughout the country. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated in a very old, historic building. The city of Douglas is fortunate to have this wonderful restaurant for the locals and visitors and I hope it will continue to thrive.”

“An excellent neighborhood dive bar. Pool tables and lots of televisions. We did not have the food but they were doing a good takeout business while we were there. Drinks were good and prices were low. Ask for the 5 Minute Margarita!”

“the sandwiches and salads need more flavoring. It needs onions, pickles and other options for sandwiches and onions on salads along with dressing on the side for to go orders, so the spinach does not get wilted so bad. Also, do not leave off ingredients that are listed on the menu. there needs to be consistency. Staff were super kind and helpful. Restaurant itself is super cute and inviting. the food needs to be elevated and can be amazing if given the right ingredients.”

“What can one say? It's Subway, folks. It used to be cheaper, but didn't everything? I miss the bygone era of $5 footlongs. However, it still beats making it yourself. The staff here have always been very nice.”

“We love this place! The food is awesome--I've tried a lot of different menu items, and everything is always terrific, very generous portions and fresh! And the staff...can't say enough good about them. Always courteous, pleasant and soooo helpful! One of our favorite places to eat (and we always come home with a LOT of leftovers!)”

“Very cheap, I called to order shrimp tacos and they didnt even hear me correctly and gave me 3 ($4.50+tax) each. Second, I saw my tacos and they look like one shrimp was evenly distributed throughout three tacos. I paid $15-$16 for three tacos and they weren’t even served right. The owner the lady is very rude and always upcharging everything.”

“What a neat place. Great to get some pictures. Stained glass in the lobby is beautiful. Food was really good. Burgers were massive. I got the butter chicken it was delicious. Prices were so reasonable too! Lunch for 6 adults was $150.”

“I ate the meal for two days! It was still good. I had a generous portion of meat on my dish. I went home at next day and added a hand full of frozen vegetables. I do that. I love more vegetables. But thw curry was wonderful. Restaurant only takes orders to go. Like we are still on Covid scare! It’s kind of a trip. I’d rather have eaten there. I like an excuse to eat away from my house. Which a table for one can be fun.”

For few more dollars, I think it's worth the price tag. I was at one point in my life 220 lbs. But once I started eating at Subway, in Douglas, AZ...I dropped my weight down too 180 lbs.

The shop keepers knew my desires, and they'd always whip out that WHEAT BREAD...No questions asked, which is what i always wanted/needed.

I miss this shop, I ate supper here everyday for six months straight!”

This is a food atmosphere and they speak English and Spanish which is a plus!”
