First off, Eddie was an amazing server. Michael & Eddie were great with efficient problem solving & customer service when it came to a soda being flat. And made my birthday lunch special with a handwritten card & complimentary birthday dessert. Being in the hospitality industry it makes me happy when the younger generations still have a passion for it. Thank you again 1899!!
This restaurant is across the street from the Drury Inn at which we were staying while traveling. Walked over for dinner. It was Christmas Eve and there were few diners due to technical issues that caused them to turn away many. The dining area is spacious, bright and not jam-packed with tables. We came on a whim and we were really glad we did. Food was really good, artichoke hearts were so nice and our server, Moira, recommended the fish tacos. Also Moira was so charming and super helpful with her recommendations. Rumor has it their chili is amazing but were sold out when we came. We’ll have to come back to try it!
