Husband and I, along with our daughter, went there on Father's Day for their special Father's Day brunch. The restaurant is housed in the restored 1899 Student Union building of Northern Arizona University, and had all the historical ambiance one would expect. We had not been there in many years and were pleasantly surprised by our wonderful meals and interesting craft cocktails. Hadn't been in a while but 5 of us went today. Food was excellent and the atmosphere was a bit more casual than in the past. Service was a bit spotty but I suspect ours will improve if he sticks with it.
Sat at the bar to eat a quick meal by myself and met a couple from Phoenix who say they dine here every time they visit Flagstaff. I had the lunch special—French Dip (shaved prime rib)—and it was amazing. Staff was pleasant and attentive. And I enjoyed sharing this nostalgic moment with the couple that met at NAU and now live in the Valley.
