I rarely leave reviews but I felt compelled to leave one for here. My husband and I stumbled upon this place as a happy accident (thinking it was a different place that my husband went to as a child), anywho….what an absolute pleasant surprise. I am not going to lie… walking in it is not exactly my vibe and I contemplated leaving but so glad we didn’t. We had Randon who was PHENOMENAL. He is a total asset to the restaurant, great personality and voice....

I try to visit Black Barts when I visit Flagstaff because the first time I went, the food was good and portioned well and the entertainment was great. The last two times I've been this summer, I've been disappointed. For four people, we spent over $350 for horrible cuts of meat. A bone in ribeye had no bone--it was a tiny knuckle. My prime rib was overdone and didn't come with au jus or horseradish sauce. My son's steak was medium well instead of medium rare....

This is one of my favorite places to eat out with my wife. They have live music that is absolutely phenomenal! Good songs to request are tradition, if I were a rich man, and be our guest. Oddly enough, my current favorite dish is the burger. I just had that on 6/15/2026 and I've never had a more perfect burger; ten ounces of juicy perfection. You must get their fried ice cream with a cup of black coffee and it's definitely large enough for two.
