Interesting display of uniforms and artifacts. Not a large facility but very clean and organized. Gift shop sold a variety of items, though small it only added to the history. You tour on your own at your own pace with signage explaining the displays. We spent about 1.5 hours in there which was plenty of time to view all areas. The Cavalry is a big part of our early history and the muse alum is well worth the trip.

Fort Huachuca Museum is a great place for military history enthusiasts. Visitors might need to get a pass before entering the active military base. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the exhibits. Although the second floor is closed, the museum is still worthwhile to visit. The gift shop offers beautiful Native American art. This free museum covers the history of Fort Huachuca and the surrounding area, providing insights into the lives of those stationed there. It features military information about the early days of the Southwest, including the formation of the Black Army regiments such as the Buffalo Soldiers, and their important contributions to the nation's military history. The museum also provides a unique view of the beginnings of unmanned aerial reconnaissance, with actual vehicles on display. It is clean, well kept, and contains interesting information. Although smaller than expected, it is worth visiting, especially for those interested in history or considering a future in the Army. Visitors can explore the main building and an annex just a few steps away, with another nearby Intelligence museum worth visiting too. The museum's exhibits are accessible and enjoyable for a wide range of visitors.
