Every time someone we love comes to visit we take them to Buono’s. We are always full and happy when we leave. The staff is wonderful and the food is delicious.

I asked for 1/2 pepperoni because I had one person who didn’t like pepperoni and we opened the pizza and it was full pepperoni. The wings were floppy and greasy and had no flavor. The Caesar salad was okay and fresh but the pizza and wings were really lacking, No Bueno for me… wouldn’t reccomend.

Based on the reviews, Buono’s Pizza is an amazing, small, friendly mom and pop shop that has been locally owned since 1989. The food and service are top notch, and the pizza is absolutely amazing. It is a New York style pizza place with a perfect crust, awesome sauce that is made in house, and whole milk cheese. The lunch special for $9.99 with a slice of cheese pizza, a salad and a drink is a great deal, with toppings available for $0.75 each. The Werks pizza is really good, and the garlic knots are awesome. The staff is generous, kind, and so friendly. While the pizza and cold beer are great, the wings have too much cartilage and bone, and the chicken quality is not made to perfection. Overall, this place is legit and one of the highest recommendations in Arizona.
