If I could rate this higher I would. Best of Caldwell BBQ but with a Mexican twist. The Brisket Birria tacos are the best. Literally. If you’re craving Mexican and BBQ, this is the spot. Hint: have the banana pudding…..trust me!
Overall, I'd give the food a 4.5. I had Brisket Tacos, Birria Tacos, and Mac n Cheese. The wife had the Brisket Elote cup. We both had the Mexi-Q Twinkies. Brisket tacos were a bit better than OK. For me they were lacking a little flavor and the tortillas were OK. I probably wouldn't get them again. Mac n Cheese was good and a little dry but I liked it. The Twinkies were really good but I'd like to see the cheese have a little flavor. The cup was great...
We were visiting Gilbert and our daughter suggested eating early dinner there!! It was FABULOUS!!! The pulled pork was juicy, tender and flavored just right. Outside patio was inviting, comfy and casual. If you LOVE BBQ, this is your Go To place!!!
