Fabulous food and excellent service. Brilliant.
Honestly such an amazing place. It defines the true atmosphere of what a sushi place should be; not too loud and the waitresses will always take care of you. Especially this one waitress, Ashley, she is very productive, sweet, and reassuring despite if there is a rush. Even if it gets a little busy, she will not forget that you are a welcomed customer. We Googled for a Japanese restaurant near the hospital we’re visiting. We’re from the Bay Area and what a find — Zu Izakaya!
The place has such a cute Japanese ambience, great service, and super attentive staff. Special shoutout to Ashley!
We had the poke eel bowl with avocado, yellowtail cheek with ponzu sauce, a bento box, plus edamame and tofu for appetizers. Everything was excellent and so satisfying.
