Had a reservation for 5:45 for a booth. Walked in at 5:40. Family ahead of us had no reservation, family of 4 was led straight to a booth. When I was greeted there was conveniently no booths left. Waited 25 minutes past our reservation for a table. Obviously no planning in place for reservations. Attitude is too bad.
The food was good (their bread is the BEST!) and our server was attentive. The only issue is that they appeared to be short staffed. Tables were not cleared after the party left. When we left, there was a large table that was covered with plates and glasses etc. and the party had left 15 minutes earlier.
Service was good. Noise level was very high. Telephone was ringing loud for take out orders and screaming unruly kids added to the noise. We were seated in a booth. Summer special Crusted Eggplant was soaked with balsamic vinegar. I had this item for lunch a few days before and it was perfect. I therefore reordered it and I was disappointed. I had soggy eggplant dripping with balsamic. My friends had lasagna and pizza and it was very good.
