Very laid back counter service with a bar. Staff was very friendly. I had the 2 piece cod, hubby had cod and shrimp combo. Breading was perfect. A light beer batter breading that does not over power the fish. Fish was very fresh. House mad tartar sauce and slaw, both perfect flavor. The clam chowder was a little thicker than I like, but hubby loved it, and I will definitely get it again. Very good, just not my preferred consistency. Definitely recommend.
Good restaurant for fresh fish with hardy portions. Been going to this place for over 20 years and the food has been consistently good. Would recommend if you have a taste for fresh fish.
This is absolutely the best place in the Peoria/Glendale area(maybe the entire valley)for fish and chips.Went last night,and awesome as usual.Super fresh,hot,prepared perfectly and top notch friendly service. We have been going here for 12+years, you won't be disappointed. I got the oscar's combo with steak fries, my wife got fish tacos and the awesome clam chowder.
