“In my opinion, this is the best restaurant they have in this little section of 5-6 different places to eat. Food was made to order, fresh, and we both liked everything we had. My wife had the burrito and I had a chicken sandwich and those were both great. Service was also very good and everyone was kind.“

“We rented e-bikes and rode the rim with this bunch! It was an incredible experience from the staff who outfitted us with perfectly-sized bikes, gave us a quick tutorial on bike operation, and recommended options for our half-day on the bikes. We opted for the Hermit’s Rest ride (21 miles roundtrip and mostly flat) and it was PERFECT for a five-hour rental. We biked at a leisurely pace, stopped several times, and even had a quick lunch at Hermit’s Rest. Highly recommend Bright Angel Bicycle Rentals!“

“Reasonably priced breakfast sandwiches, burritos & Starbucks coffee! It opens at 7 am but we got in line at 6:45 and we are glad we did. By the time we got out of line there were 30 more people behind us in line!Tip: get in line early before they even open up or you’ll be waiting awhile!“

“You might not believe this, Starbucks was the cheapest option for breakfast in this area.
The staff was so friendly, the coffee and food matched what you have come to expect from Starbucks.
If you head over early, you can catch the elk or prong horns in the parking lot.“

“This shop can be found near the Desert View Watchtower and offers a variety of items inside, including gift shop items, souvenirs, clothing and food items as well as a deli shop. Heck, they even sell wine here. The marketplace is the thing you will find close to a standard grocery store or convenience store for miles around. The staff is helpful and friendly so there are no complaints here. The deli offers a variety of different food options and on this cold, snowy day, hot soup and coffee hit the spot. The food prices are not that bad, considering where you are, and the gift shop prices are what you would expect for this type of location. Overall, it was a well-maintained facility, clean and friendly staff.“
