The Harvey House Cafe is a place to meet and to enjoy a casual old-fashioned setting almost like our grandmother's kitchen, where we decided on breakfast and dinner on our last full day.

Upon entering, my partner and I were greeted by the host and were led to a table facing the parking lot decorated vibrantly with colored transom panels on the windows, exposed wood beams, and brightly colored mosaic tile work throughout. Seating is first-come, first-served.

Their menu features breakfast, lunch, and dinner with an emphasis on diner-style cuisine. They are very popular for breakfast, for which we decided on the Harvey Skillet, Fruit Cup, and Harvey Breakfast. For dinner, we ordered the Harvey Salad with Chicken and Fish & Chips.

The food was way better than expected for breakfast, using the freshest ingredients and well seasoned. The downside for dinner was that the Fish & Chips were very oily.

Prices were not outrageous, especially given one is in a touristy area. Portions were healthy. Our server, Natalya, was attentive and friendly for breakfast. She went the extra mile to make sure our dining experience was special and memorable. The place was spotless—everything looked and felt clean, which is always a plus.“

“Overall great experience and drinks. We had the pork belly (definitely try...if you like pork), duck tacos (these were ok) and the sweet potato fries (I don't like sweet potato and these were good). “For what it is, it’s great! Good ordering system via electronic menu and then find a table or you can choose your table then order through QR code and staff brings food to you. The food variety was good, everything from BBQ half chicken, fettuccine Alfredo, chicken and rice curry, to salads, burgers, and short rib. Tasted pretty good- again, for what it is. We were overall pleasantly surprised and it beat our expectations of some sort of camp cafeteria experience.“

“The food is cheaper here than other options at Grand Canyon, but the quality is just fine. Plenty of options available at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Staff was very friendly. And you can leave your tray and dishes at the table and they pick up after you! 🙂“
