The Hopi Travel Plaza is a revitalized travel center that offers clean restrooms and showers at a reasonable price, with a discount for locals. The center features an excellent gift shop with unique items, including real sterling silver opal earrings. The Indian food served is excellent, with great curry and garlic naan bread. While the bathrooms may not be perfect, they are decent. This is a good stop for those exploring the Petrified Forest or looking for a break from the road. The Burger King inside the center, however, is known for its high prices compared to other locations, with combo meals costing more than a full combo at other Burger King restaurants. The Indian cuisine and Burger King are only open during the day, with the center closing at night. Overall, the Hopi Travel Plaza provides a spacious and convenient stop for travelers, with ample parking for trucks.
