This place has come far. Once this place was on its last thread. Now it is revitalized. The gift shop is top notch, and the Indian food is excellent. Great Curry and garlic Nan bread!
It was a pretty good place! Its no Loves, but they shined in the stores inside. If you were in no hurry you could maybe spend a good 15 minutes inside. I dont know if you need another stop after going to knife city just behind it. The bathrooms were not dirty, but not immaculate by any means. There must not be much ventilation because it was easley one of the worst smelling bathrooms i have ever visited! But if there is a ventilation issue there is not much that can be done.

Restrooms are clean. Showers cost $12 but half price for locals. There is no time or water limit. Would highly recommend for those camping near Petrified Forest. The TA Travel Center costs $18.
