We come to Havasu City every January, February and March. There are several excellent restaurants that we frequent and just added a new restaurant to our list of places to eat. Ate at the Hokkaido Asian Cuisine Buffet and the food was exceptional. The baked salmon was very good and I don’t usually like salmon all that much. The sushi’s were excellent. We all were very pleased. We will definitely return before we leave Havasu City for Montana, Wyoming and South Dakota.

The food selection includes a diverse array of options, catering to every palate, though some meals, like the pho station, remained average, and the hibachi was still overly salty. The fresh fruit, particularly the dried-out melon, raised concerns about food safety. The Friday night experience has shown a decline in food quality, but the mango jello continued to stand out as consistently good. Service was generally good, with staff being warm, welcoming, and attentive. However, the restaurant was busy, leading to notable wait times for plates and drink refills. Parking is available for any size rig or RV. Overall, patience is advised for a visit to this buffet, which has been recognized as an excellent choice for budget-oriented diners. Despite some setbacks, it is considered one of the best buffets by some customers who enjoyed the all-you-can-eat sushi bar and crab offerings.
