Great atmosphere and unbelievable sunset view. Good was very good and a great value. So glad we went to Cayton's.
We have consistently enjoyed Caytons for the last few months. The menu and food have returned to outstanding!
Cayton’s was a great experience all around. The views were absolutely beautiful and made the whole visit feel special. The food and adult beverages were solid, but what truly stood out was the service. The staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to be accommodating to a family member in a wheelchair, which was genuinely kind and very much appreciated. Unfortunately it was a rainy day when we were there but I will definitely be back to utilize the patio.
Between the welcoming atmosphere, thoughtful service, and spectacular views, this is definitely a place I would return to.

It was great to enjoy dining on the patio with our friends from out of town, and enjoying the sunset over the golf course. While the food was great, the highlight of our meal was the outstanding service provided by Renya. The craft cocktails were very good, especially the Sonoran Twilight. Our appetizer was the Cast Iron Charred Shishito Peppers, and the addition of the Chiltepin Honey made these quite delicious. Our main dishes were the Pepita Crusted Salmon, the P&S Burger, and the Southwestern Cobb Salad, with the P&S Burger being the standout among the entrees. Overall, it was great meal, and we will definitely be back again soon. Highly recommended if you happen to be in the Dove Mountain area.
Service was excellent. Do not sleep on the quail on the appetizer menu. It was superb and done right! I was expecting an upscale steakhouse. Yes they had steaks but not a large selection. Would hear again and stick to the bison burger.
Our server was very interesting and engaging discussing our shared interests. The manager spent considerable time to speak with us even though we were not staying at the hotel this time. The food was very tasty although the menu was limited.
My family of 5 made a second visit to Cayton's for Christmas dinner. Th experience was excellent, the same as our last experience. Ambience, food, service were all top-notch. Cayton's is not cheap, so they should strive to give diners a special experience. And dthey did!
We came here for Christmas Eve dinner and were able to sit on the porch with the fireplace and heat lamps. Service was generally good but the food was only meh. We ordered wings and the bread to start (both ok). Two of us got salmon (the best dish of the night) one ordered the roast chicken, the fourth got a kale salad and the corn dogs. She did not like the corn dogs. All the plates had the main but not really a side vegetable. That is, the salmon had a corn/potato salsa but it was kind of wimpy given the food prices.
We just golfed at Dove Mountain. The course was immaculate, so this review has nothing to do with golfing. I am only bringing up my concerns with the food and beverage. Minus mixups on a few other items, we ordered chicken strips at the turn and received them raw. I was mid bite as my friend screamed for me not to eat them. I spit one out and upon inspection the chicken was pink and purple. Completely raw. They gave us a breakfast burrito instead, as those were mixed up with chicken caesar wraps. We then went to the front desk and waited almost 30 minutes to speak to someone as a line of people formed in the lobby of the restaurant. The only option given to us was to take my name and phone number while they “figure out a solution”. Unacceptable, but I could not further spend my time waiting for someone to come around and hear our concerns.

They ignored reservation notes asking to be sat outside and didn't recognize my wife's Birthday. They did accommodate moving outside. When dinner was served we never saw anyone again. No one asked about quality of food (undercooked) and after we were finished they realized no one brought out the wine we ordered. We asked for check and ran back to resort which was phenomenal. Stick with the hotel amenities here is our recommendation.
Our server was top notch and the food was amazing. You made the birthday lunch very special - thanks!!
Great food and even better service. Alex at the bar was incredibly friendly and made sure our party had nothing but the best cocktails all evening. We look forward to returning again soon. Cheers.

This golf course restaurant at Dove Mountain is an absolute hidden gem. The patio alone is worth the visit with the most breathtaking sunsets over the course. The menu is just as impressive. There's truly something for everyone from classic favorites to creative, unique dishes you won't find at your typical clubhouse grill. What really sets this place apart, though, is the staff. Warm, welcoming, and always accommodating, they strike the perfect balance between professional and personable. You feel genuinely taken care of from the moment you walk in.
Clayton's was an amazing experience! The food was great and the scenery was breathtaking! We would definitely recommend it!
