“Don’t sleep on this place! The food is absolutely incredible.
When we walked in, we were the only customers, but the gentleman working was so welcoming and genuinely excited to help us. He gave us a few recommendations and confidently told us it would be the best chicken/food we’d ever had… and he wasn’t kidding.
We ordered the chicken and the lamb chops, and both were unbelievably flavorful, juicy, and perfectly cooked. I’m so glad we tried both because I honestly couldn’t pick a favorite.
But the real surprise for me was the baklava. I’ve always thought baklava was just “pretty good,” but this completely changed my mind. It was hands down the best baklava I’ve ever had.
We can’t wait to go back and work our way through the menu. One thing’s for sure, I’ll definitely be ordering extra baklava next time!“

“Delicious soups, sandwiches, salads. The Nuts about Berries is my favorite. For sandwiches, Brisket Grilled Cheese, Turkey Avocado or Chicken Pesto are my choices. I love most of the soups, though we had Lobster Bisque and Chicken Enchilada soup today.“

“8/15/26: been back a number of times & staff has been more friendly & talkative. Love their variety of bowls. One visit recently we bought 10 bowls & stuffed them in our freezer for dinners that week so we didn’t have to turn the oven on in this heat. Worked fantastically!

4/25/26: holy smokes do they have a sh*t ton of bowls! Plus, a large selection of smoothies & fresh juices. It was crazy (good) how many options they had.

Parking: part of a substantially sized shopping area so plenty of parking is available. Just beware the huge SUVs trying to back out.

Atmosphere: bursting with colors & cool decor.

Service: decent, not overly friendly but def not rude either.

Drinks: a can of Poppi & the beach break juice (pineapple, carrot, ginger, and lemon). The juices were exceptionally balanced in the Beach Break and there was no overly dominant flavor. It was very good, though next time I'll likely ask for a glass of ice cubes because it was not cold, just cool

Bowls: Electric Mermaid and Mango Berry. So effin' good, both of them. The bowls are very large, too, and I feel the price was reasonable ($13 & $12, respectively).

Now that summer is upon us, Playa Bowls will be a great place to enjoy some cool food (figuratively and literally). :-)“

“One of my favorite healthy places to get breakfast or lunch when I'm on this side of town! Portion sizes are good for me, I ate half my veggie burrito at this point in the pic. The Paradise Glow drink tastes very good, no crash. A tad bit pricey, I added 2 extras in my burrito and altogether was $20. They do have good deals sometimes and points do add up for discounts! “Very great customer service, greeted as soon as I went in. I ordered two shakes and they asked what base we wanted. I told them that we went to the Scottsdale location and it was chunky, and whatever wouldn’t make it chunky. They told me it was actually the blender that made the difference, we chatted while they made the drinks, and they came out great! For anyone deterred by the bad customer service comments, I’d consider giving this location another chance :)“

“Love the power bowls but a this location employees seemed like they were unfamiliar with the ingredients. Maybe they were in training? My power bowl came without rice even though I told them that I wanted wild rice when asked. Nevertheless, the meal was wonderful and I like that all of the dishes come with a roll and chocolate covered strawberry. Cold butter slices are also available at the self ever counter. Love this place as it offers high quality healthy food!“
