“First time trying this place and it is awesome! Price felt pretty reasonable. The man working the front was super nice and brought the food out to us. We waited outside cause it was a little warm inside. The food came out pretty fast and tasted really fresh. The fried shrimp appetizer was still super crunchy even after we got home and the Pad Thai was super delicious 🤤

“This has got to be one of my faves if not the fave Phở restos in the Valley. Those of you who’ve read my reviews know I love and know Phở… and of my persistent seeking out for a ‘legitimate and traditional’ Phở! Aside of its non-descript, simple and no-frills interior and location, yet relaxed and accommodating – the offerings are to write home about. Whether ordering bun bo hue, shrimp and pork spring rolls, Asian salads or the rice noodle soups, its really, really good. It appears all the dishes have been excellent to date, nonetheless at the core of it all is the Phở. My favorite Phở Tai Nam is delectable. With tender meats, amazing broth, one of the better renderings of seasoning I’ve tasted. Wife’s Phở Tai was perfectly to her liking. I was also impressed with remarkably fresh accoutréments of bean sprouts, cilantro, jalapeños, lime wedges and Basil leaves! Phở Number One puts together extraordinary presentation with precise amount of beef bone flavor of its broth and just the right measure of onion and ginger with the perfect dash of fish sauce – kudos to the kitchen, it’s almost perfect.
