They didn’t let us order a whole pizza (despite it being on their menu). Can only order slices ($4.80 for supreme slice) The pizza was undercook and the dough was borderline raw. The beef brisket sandwich is a much better deal for $14.
First afternoon I had the Elk chili per other recommendations. It was good, very on point for style and tasted great. I also belched it up for like 2 hours after. Maybe the spices, idk, but I don't usually have that happen. Second night I was gonna have brisket, out of that at 7pm, same with pork. Reluctantly got two slices of pepperoni pizza against other reviewers recommendations. It was actually pretty good. What I would expect anyway. What a lovely staff. We had just gotten to the North Rim lodge and as we were headed to the lobby we hear this joyful voice saying Good Morning isn't today such a beautiful day! Later we realized that it was the manager of the Deli in the pines . We hadn't had breakfast so we stopped by to take a look at what the deli offered. My wife was hoping to grab salads for our hike later and they didn't have any but the manager didn't think twice to go down and make two very yummy salads...read full review
