We went here based on the recommendation of a trusted friend. The experience did not disappoint. The food was outstanding and the service was stellar. The atmosphere is a quiet understated nice place. Be advised that the place is small and while we were there early afternoon with no wait to be seated, I envision it filling up fast closer to meal times so plan ahead. It is well worth the wait if any.
First of all I want to say I was impressed with the Gluten free options. I ordered the Penne Pepperonata Bake with gluten free noodles. I wish I had ordered the Gluten free ravioli (Next time I will try that. My friends ordered the Garlic Shrimp & Scallops. Here meal was amazing according to her. The desert and other meals were great. One not great thing is I ordered a glass of red wine and the server forgot to order it completely so that was a bummer. I did not bring it up....
If you are like me and prefer your red sauce with a hint of sweetness, then you’re gonna love this place. Their lasagna was absolutely delicious, I ordered the queen size and it was about 5”x3” - about the size of a single serving frozen lasagna - for around $19. Next time, if I’m craving a good lasagna I’ll just pay $3 more to upgrade to the king size. I also tried their Eggplant Parmesan 2 days later day. I swapped out to their...
