Painted Desert Diner is a little cafe located in the back of a gift shop at a Visitor Center. The diner offers delicious Navajo Tacos with pillowy soft fry bread and a great variety of sauces and condiments to spice up the meal. A single Navajo Taco is big enough for two, making it a filling choice. They also serve fresh and affordable options like breakfast burritos, which are amazing and can easily feed two, veggie burgers, tater tots, burgers, chicken sandwiches, fries, and zucchini sticks. The service is fast and friendly, although there may be times when it is slow, as one person runs the whole kitchen. The diner is a convenient food option in the park, featuring an air-conditioned dining area and restrooms, making it a nice spot to enjoy a local treat.
