“I had been looking all over to find a place that sells fry bread and Navajo Tacos that we could guarantee be opened when we arrived. When I saw there was a diner at this Visitor Center that offered just what I was looking for, we were sold. The taco was delicious. Just the right amount of toppings and the fry bread was so pillowy soft it was magical. The plain fry bread with powdered sugar was a great sweet treat really showcasing how versatile this one food can be. Don't miss out on a local treat here!!“

“We went to petrified forest in early May because it was on the way to Utah and we had heard about it earlier. Petrified forest, being right off i 40, is such a neat place to stop at. The painted desert and blue mesa were so nice and great. Plus we barely saw anyone and it was so peaceful. I also saw some peiroglyphs and we passed by where route 66 ran through the park. There were also hundreds if not thousands of petrified logs scattered throughout the park that ranged in sizes. Overall, this park was an easy 5 star.“
