I ordered one of the mocktails and it was mostly ice. It's pretty small in there, but a cute idea. Service was a little pushy towards the more expensive drinks

Overall it was a cool experience. However, we did not get our first drinks ordered until 40 minutes into the reservation and our reservation was only for 90 minutes. The area is very small- I wouldn't recommend for groups. The bartender was nice and obviously busy, but with a cap on the reservation, I would hope for quicker service. The ambiance was cool and all of our drinks were great. One of the drinks I got had fish sauce in it, which was not a labeled ingredient. I am a vegetarian, so that was super disappointing. I would still recommend this bar, but would maybe go on a weekday instead of a weekend where the service will be quicker.

We have been to 36 Below many times and loved it! However last time the service struggled and we were left trying to find someone to take our drink order. I understand that it's a 90 min reservation but felt rushed when we order dessert 30 mins prior to the end and did not receive them until 24 mins later. It only left us 6 mins to eat them in which the hostess came twice to rush us out and once told us to collect our plates and finish upstairs. We have always like going but this experience left us second guessing our next visit

We had made a reservation here due to the popularity that it had on social media, but the posts we saw online were a little misleading. Once we come in, we were very surprised on the amount of space there is. It is a basement level bar, which is understandable on why it is so small, but there was way too many tables and chairs for the amount of space there is. You are literally sitting back to back with the other party behind you and are hearing their conversation. I understand there is a lot of popularity with the bar so they probably want to fit as any people as they can, but at some point it was way too crowded. Not to mention one of our chairs was broken and they were not able to replace it due to half of their chairs being broken. The waitress kept bumping into people and almost spilling drinks due to having to squeeze by. The ambience is truly amazing and the Neon Tokyo theme is truly beautiful and they had great music to pair with the theme. The staff was very nice, they took awhile to bring our drinks but due to the fact that there was only one bartender available which is understandable. The drinks were VERY creative and impressive and I think price matches the value you are getting. You can definitely taste the alcohol but not too overbearing. Overall I would definitely give this place a 5 star but it was just way too crowded and chairs were super uncomfortable. Take some tables and chairs out and it would definitely be more comfortable and pleasant experience.

While the food and drink was wonderful, the service was so incredibly slow. It took us 10-15 minutes to be seated (despite having a reservation and this being a “timed” reservation) then the waitress took quite a while to get to us. After she brought us water, we had to flag her down to order food and drinks. We waited quite a bit for our order to arrive - from sitting to receiving drinks, it was probably 30 minutes in total. Then we had to rush because we had dinner reservations and needed to leave in 15 minutes. Even though the food/drink was great, I'd hesitate recommending based on the slow service.

Tables are way to close to each other, almost no leg room. Our feet, though sitting at the table, were right under bar seats where other people were sitting. Other than that it was a great experience.
