Drove an hour on a Thursday to be seated at a loud, crowded bar without Christmas decor. I mentioned on the reservation that this was for graduation, and we wanted to sit by the Christmas screens, however they blamed their “system” for being unable to move us and unable to make any accommodations. At the bar there is nothing to see unless you turn around the entire time. If you’re going to the winter “pop up” make sure to get a table otherwise it is not wintery at all. Additionally, I saw some manager feedback that the bar is full Christmas views, but for someone 5ft tall at the end, not at all. I’m not really a drinker, so a packed bar without being able to see or hear is not for me. Would recommend the 13th floor miracle pop up in Phoenix!

And yes, this was the right location- right next to the beautiful Century Grand speakeasy. When the feedback is snappy, again, not worth the visit.

Very cool spot and concept, however the service is terrible! The drinks were good, overpriced but that was expected for a place like this. I wouldn’t recommend going here, we had a group of 6 last night and we all felt it wasn’t worth going back.

What a wonderful experience !!! Such a fun vibe ! There was an angry couple in front of us (who the host handled with complete grace) once we entered, it was such an amazing night with our very attentive bartender Jules ! Friendly, fun , festive - Do not miss the opportunity for great fun ,service and atmosphere!

Found this experience by accident and was lucky enough to snag a reservation. We arrived and you enter through a really cute coffee shop downstairs to a Christmas wonderland. It is small and I quickly understood why reservations are so critical to ensure a greater patience for everyone. From the initial host who was so friendly and welcoming (despite having to deal with a seemingly entitled customer who wasn’t getting her way and huffing and puffing all over) to the bar tender who was so friendly and made the experience so much fun (Thank you Jules!) All in all, I had so much fun and it was such a great way to kick off the whole Christmas month!!

Had a reservation for 4p.m. because all other reservations were booked. Arrived at 4:01. There was one other party in the bar at the time and we got seated in the corner of the bar sandwiched between the server station and the bar top. Which blocked our view of the Christmas ambiance. We asked to be moved to one of the other six plus tables that were vacant at the time and were told that those were for parties of 4. Any other seat in the house would have been fine but they chose to put us in the corner despite the open tables where we completely lost the ambiance and the whole point of being there. 0 stars for Customer Service. I didn't even see Christmas drinks on the cocktail menu, maybe you have to ask but we didn't get that far, we left.

The Christmas decorations are stunning, and the drinks were really good. Great place to get into the holiday spirit!

Great place if you sit in the bar area, do not bring a party over 4. We had a party of 10. They put us in another room away from the Christmas atmosphere. The room was 4 x 6 dark like a dungeon. The drinks are cute but undrinkable. 4 of us ordered something different maybe thinking it was the our drink choice. The second one was the same. After each (10 of us) having 2 undrinkable drinks no one finished, sitting in a 4x 6 dark room with dollar store snowflakes for decor and 250.00 later. My festive Christmas party for friends was a bust at this bar. We ended up walking across the parking lot to another establishment to salvage the Christmas party. Again great idea in Therory. The decor needs to be consistant throughout. That's why I booked the party here in the first place based off the bar area decor and festive vib. I had not planned on bringing my friends to sit in a 6 x 4 room with plastic ferns on the wall and plastic snowflakes, non drinkable drinks for a total with tip of 300. Boo

This place exceeded my expectations! I highly recommend making a reservation since seating fills up fast. The décor had me hooked from the start, and the drinks were not only creative but also perfectly balanced with the right amount of alcohol. Definitely worth a visit!

36 below is a joke, there are several award winning craft mixology themed bars 100ft east. Admittedly, they are almost always busy. 36 below has an opportunity to compete with some of the great restaurants and bars in Az but underperform in almost every category

The atmosphere is very nice ...

Every other aspect is sub-par service, value, quality, uniqueness and customization

I get it, it's supposed to be a emersive experience... it's hard to be engaged in the bar when it takes 20 minutes to get a round of drinks ( there is a 90 minute time limit )

Then if the bar is full good luck having a conversation

Price and value... I assume I'm paying for the atmosphere as opposed to drink quality kinda like the movie theater with their crazy popcorn and drink prices

Booking fee??? Yes, it's becoming the norm, ok
For $150 not including tip please, please, walk 100ft east and see how century grand and its 3 superb bespoke bars opperate

Don't take my word for it, but don't blame me either when you learn for yourself

We booked a time slot for the holiday pop-up and my wife’s birthday. We were excited because we’ve wanted to check this place out for a while. We checked in and the Hostess seated my wife and I in a busy walkway next to bar. My wife wears a leg brace and has crutches so it wasn’t the ideal spot for ADA but they refused to seat us elsewhere. It was busy so we made it work. Ordered drinks and our server was great! My wife ordered one final drink with 25 minutes left on our 90 minute reservation. The last drink took 20 minutes to receive and literally as it was delivered the hostess said we had to leave and finish the drink upstairs. We saw 5 open tables and 2 open seats at the bar and asked for 10 more minutes. She refused and made us get up and my wife had to hobble upstairs while I carried her drink. We tried to talk to the hostess again and she just said our time was up. Such a terrible experience at the end. Really ruined my wife’s birthday night. If you want to enjoy a fun atmosphere with great drinks head next door to Century Grand!

The Christmas theme at this bar is absolutely gorgeous – it feels like stepping into a cozy holiday wonderland! The drinks were delicious and well-crafted, perfect for getting into the festive spirit. The only downside is the space; it’s pretty small, so it can feel a bit cramped when it’s busy. Still, totally worth a visit for the vibes and cocktails!

If you are looking for the worst service possible and overpriced average cocktails this is your place to it’s unfortunate a place with so much potential is run by clowns. Check out the Christmas speakeasy’s in Scottsdale. You will thank me

First off, I have to say I hate writing bad reviews, especially for local companies as I know times are tough but I couldn't not leave a review of our recent experience at 36 Below.

While the decor and ambiance are adorable and the drinks, while pricey, were tasty, our experience was pretty bad. During the entire process from making reservations to checking out, the customer service was horrible. Our server (a younger petite brunette) was curt, rude, not helpful and we had to wait quite awhile for our drinks and food. She was so bad that we asked another server, who was very sweet, to take our picture, which she kindly did.

Since they have a max of 4 people to a reservation and their private room was booked, we scheduled 2 reservations at 5:30pm and 6pm. I had emailed them asking if we could combine the reservations and the owner, Chiara's, response was very short and unaccommodating. We will always understand if something can't be done but the way the message was conveyed is what we have a problem with. Similar to the server, she was curt and not very helpful.

Anyway, we decided to have the girls take the 5:30 reservation and have the boys come for the 6pm reservation and as it turned out, we had (2) 4 spots right next to each other. Perfect! All was great, we thought. We asked if we could make the 2 spots into 1 so our back weren't to each other and our server said, "I'm not sure" with an exasperated voice, walked away and never came back with an answer. The place is very small so we shimmied the tables around, being mindful to keep the same pathway available. It was a bit awkward but we made it work and we were having a great time!

Then, the manager came up to us out of nowhere and very rudely told us we had to put the tables back. Mind you: we did not take up any more space than the way they had them originally arranged and we were very polite while ordering a couple hundred dollars of drinks and food while not receiving any sort of customer service at all. For him to come over so rudely right off the bat caught us all so off guard ~ we actually thought he was kidding!

One of the guys in our group matched the manager's energy and asked that he just speak kindly to us and the situation quickly escalated with us being asked to leave. We have never, in all our years of dining out, been spoken to in this manner and were quite shocked. During this time, we received the next round of drinks we had ordered and the manager just stared us down the entire time we drank them, with us still being bewildered with what just happened, especially since we were spending a couple hundred dollars at their establishment!

In addition to many of us having been in hospitality for years, we frequent many restaurants and bars in the valley and we all had to agree that this was one of the worst experiences we've ever had. Had the manager simply come over and politely say that we can't move the tables and ask us to return them to the original configuration, we would have gladly done so. However, when somebody comes at you in such a confrontational manner, that doesn't set up a discussion for much success. Especially when this was coming after having bad service from the server after not feeling very welcome from Chiara's email.

That all being said, the bartender and the other server seemed to be very nice and the drinks were tasty, which is why I gave 2 stars. Pricey...but tasty and we loved the festive flair. Unfortunately, our experience starting with the owner in our emails to the server to the manager gave us a night to remember but not in a good way ;( There are way too many nice restaurants and bars in the Phoenix Valley to go to one where the staff is this unpleasant.

Service was SEVERELY lacking and drinks were generic at best. Probably the most overhyped speakeasy I have EVER been to.

Had been wanting to check this place out for the longest time and the opportunity finally came by. Made a reservation a week prior and booking it was easy. We booked for 11:30pm on a Friday night.

The day finally came by and we were hella early - about an hour and a half early. We got a drink at SIP and sat outside on the patio for a bit. My friend decided to go ask the hostess about maybe letting us in early and she said all she was given was attitude for asking.

It was finally 11:25pm and time to head downstairs. The hostess was no longer there at the top so we walked ourselves down. Once downstairs, we were told to wait and a worker finally came over and sat us at the bar.

Our seating arrangement was weird as there was a big pole separating my one friend from us two as we were a party of three. One of the bartenders quickly greeted us as we sat down and he quickly gave us the rundown of the menu. We all ordered different drinks. My two friends ordered off their "spooky" special menu and I ordered off their regular menu. I had the mycelium drink and they had a cauldron drink and a potion drink. (don't remember the names)

Water was also brought out so we sipped on that while we waited. About 15 minutes passed by and our drinks were finally given to us. The potion drink was bomb. It was sweet and not too strong. The cauldron drink was a rip off and not even half way full. It was less then half, more like a shot - my friend was upset. On social media it is portrayed differently - we have seen may posts about the cauldron being full, hmmm. The presentation of the mycelium drink was pretty cute and unique. Taste wise? GROSS. I did not like it one bit. It was super sour, bitter, and tasted what I think gasoline must taste like. It literally gave me heartburn the rest of the night...

Only spent about 45 minutes here and we decided to leave. Its small inside and it was still very much packed when we left. Cool concept and great décor / theme but ehh could've definitely been better.
