I always like the atmosphere of these 1950s-60s style diners. The shakes look really good at generous portions.
I found the sausage gravy one of the best I've ever had--spicy but just spicy enough--and the hash browns were very crispy. Great place to grab a bite while you're waiting for your car to be serviced at one of the numerous service centers nearby.

When it comes to getting breakfast in the middle of the night in Phoenix, this is your best option!! Sure there's IHOP, there's Denny's, but this place is serving 50s nostalgia alongside 24 hour breakfast and lunch/dinner menu. Songs from the 50s (and some early 60s) play while you eat. Sadly the jukeboxes do not seem to work - but it is cool seeing music listings from so long ago.

For quality this is 4 stars, but this gave me many memories as a grandson of someone who helped create a Long Island diner years ago. From the ambience, how the waitress conducted herself, the presentation and just everything, it gave me a nice memory of how diners used to be.
