This place checks all the boxes. Delicious, affordable, and low-key—yes please! The complimentary salsa, accompanied by chips, is super flavorful and doesn't hold back on the spice. The charro beans are a real hit, full of flavor. And the burro is fantastic. I'm not sure if they use homemade tortillas but it tastes like it. Oh, and light, delicious horchata!
I was really excited to see that they offer beef head (cabeza) on the menu 🌮🔥 — you don’t find that everywhere! I ordered a mixed two-meat platter with cabeza and al pastor. The flavors were honestly fantastic, super authentic and well-seasoned 😋. The only issue was that the cabeza was a bit too oily for my taste. If it had been slightly leaner, it would have been absolutely perfect.
