We had read about Bacanora and all the awards, and eating here did not disappoint. From the prawns to the cactus to the short rib, the food was excellent. Everything is cooked over an open flame in the restaurant and the atmosphere is wonderful. We were celebrating our anniversary and the wait staff was attentive and helpful with great suggestions and pairings. Definitely a restaurant that deserves all the accolades it gets.
Food is always amazing here, service is hit or miss, but this time around we had Sky, an amazing server. We had a great time with our friends, we had the prawns, scallops, cauliflower(so damn good), carne asada burrito and the NY Strip. Love this food, chef Rene has so much love in his menu.
I want everyone to come eat here! It's the best, most creative, flavorful and interesting food I've had in Phoenix. We ordered elote, bone marrow, crudo, a whole fish main (maybe a few other small plates), a few desserts - it was all unreal. Their menu changes often and after what we tried, I would try anything coming out of that kitchen!
