Deep fried greasy bacon inedible, French fries versus breakfast potatoes. The scrambled eggs and toast were the only edible items. Not worth $30 for two. Recommend skipping it.

The churros are always great! Located in the Southwest Airlines terminal. I don't understand the low reviews, except that this is a busy terminal with not a lot of food options. That said, more for me!

I was very disappointed, I picked this place to eat, while my group of 11 people went somewhere else to eat to support the Latino culture, but it seemed like their own race is the last race they’d rather service. I just wish they would treat everyone equal in their customer service. Stood like for 5 minutes for someone to actually call me, while there is no line and tables are available and than they don’t even appoint you a seat in a communication way. Waited for another 7 minutes until the same person who said come to go in, tells me that I have to scan a code on the side of the table. Right after she tells me as I’m about to scan a server comes and I order, I order posole verde which I do not recommend, posole is cold, no chips are given. I ask to get it heat up and I am waiting for like 10 to 15 minutes and no one stop to ask as I’m waiting, I finally decide to just leave and notify the same person that was rumbling around since the beginning and she asks to just wait 1 minutes and here comes my food. This place has no good work system. Server was nice and polite, but it seemed like it was just for show, while there’s people close around watching. By the way posole verde is much better in chicken, look up a good recipe for it in TikTok much better that the ingredients used in your posole. I’m sorry if it sound insulting or rude, that is not what I’m trying to point out, just wanting to point out some things that can be changed for the better if your business that sits at a very good location.

Our first time eating at Barrio's while waiting for our plane... the BEST appetizer ever! Barrio nachos with pork!!! Piled high with avocados and tender, flavorful pork & tomatoes, cheeses, etc! Isaiah made the best martinis too. Told him we'd post a review which we rarely do but their food was delicious! Thank you! PS I'm hoping to find this place on the east coast ?

Absolute worst service. Waited 20 minutes before having to call the hostess over to get our server to come to the table to get our drink order because the barcode on the table didnt work to place our order. There does not appear to be any sort of system in place for who's assigned to what section. Everyone just looks down until the get to the table they were heading to. Once our order was placed and the food arrived, our server never returned to the table to check on us and we had to flag him down just to pay the check. Definitely not the friendliest restaurant in the "friendliest airport in America."

Dishes were delicious, clean and disappeared in silence! A "must stop" at PHX! Service was truly customer oriented! Would be nice to have a 2nd Barrio Cafe in N. California in San Francisco or East Bay area! Excellent! From their website: 2814 N 16th Street Phoenix, Arizona, 85006 "NOT affiliated with other restaurants with the "barrio" name"

People get disgruntled about airport prices and lines, but what do they expect? This is a solidly local establishment with fresh, crisp greens, hearty meats, and local beer. Staff were as accommodating as they could be. Prices were decent for being in the airport. Tiny tortillas - go for the burrito instead of the tacos.

Great steak tacos. Ask for Steak on the quesadilla. Doug makes great Jalapeño Margaritas and Susan gives service from the heart. Fantastic experience.

With plenty of time before we board our plane, we decided to stop for nachos and beverages. We thoroughly enjoyed the Food and Beverages. The Customer Service was ! We sat at the bar. Monica was amazing. Cheers

Great service. Better than typical airport food. My pozole was excellent. Great local drafts. I’m not a tequila guy but a lot of folks were ordering lots of different tequilas so they must have a great selection

Please save your money and go elsewhere. The service was very slow even though they weren't very busy. The food looks unappetizing once it's served and nothing like it is described in the menu.

Mixed emotions on this one - it was better than anything else nearby in terminal 4 but it definitely wasn't great. Going to have to stick with a 3. The Arizona burrito was loaded with lots of pork, which I appreciated. And it was hot and a decent meal. Gotta make sure to put lots of the salsa on for some flavor. The fries were ok but the spicy ketchup the cake with was maybe the best part of the meal.
