Food was not so good; got a massive, inedible chunk of fat in my burrito that ultimately killed my appetite. Fries were good. Definitely not worth the extreme price. Service was overall good and fast.
When you’re stuck in the airport for 5 hours, you’ve gotta get some good grub! Barrio Cafe was super close to my departing gate, and there was no wait. I ordered the shrimp quesadilla, which was phenomenal, and the service was good, too, although you can order and pay via the QR code on your table. I would definitely eat here again, if I find myself back in PHX airport near the D gates. 10/10 recommend! Fair warning, though, they (and many other restaurants in PHX airport)...
The Terminal 4 Barrio Cafe was lively but not overly crowded—perfect for a quick bite before a flight. Staff were friendly and efficient, though a bit rushed during peak hours. I tried the brisket tacos, which had a unique, slightly unexpected flavor profile (no BBQ sauce, as noted), and the ice tea tasted flat. Portions were modest for the $33 price tag.
