I love this place. Seems like a genuinely awesome Chicago eatery. I'm originally from Illinois and would drive into Chicago several times a year throughout my entire childhood. This place feels like I'm back home and about to visit Grant Park. I got the Italian Beef sub, and it was amazing. I personally like my bread on the crisper side so I might request that next time, but I know traditionally it's on a fresh hoagie I believe so no complaints here. This place doesn't mess around. Happy employees cooking quality food working for a good owner. Jimmy is here everyday cooking away. You always know it's gonna be good when the owner is in the kitchen cooking. Wide variety of choices, not just hot dogs. Do yourself a favor and come out here for lunch or dinner sometime!!!

I just went into Jimmy's hotdogs for the first time on a whim I wasn't expecting much and I ordered the Chicago dog and some fries came out to about seven dollars to which I was worried that my cheap meal wouldn't be very good. I was dead wrong Jimmy's Chicago hotdog was one of the greatest hotdogs I've ever had in my entire life and I don't even really like hotdogs that much, Jimmy's customer service was a 10 out of 10 and I hope that this business does very well in life also...read full review
