After a disappointing wait at another location, I decided to try the Church’s Chicken on Cactus, even though it was a few miles out of my way. It was worth the trip—this location had fresh chicken, fresh biscuits, and the customer service was spot on. I definitely recommend this spot if you're in the area!
After my last two visits I've learned, always go with the original recipe. My last two orders were the wings and a spicy 3 piece. I did not enjoy either. Old and dry. Every other time I've been here I've had has been good, always fresh, and very tasty.
The food had its highlights and areas for improvement. The spicy thighs and legs were quite delicious and definitely stood out. However, the sandwiches left something to be desired, appearing flat and lacking flavor. On a positive note, the fries and mashed potatoes were satisfying, but the mac and cheese had an artificial taste that didn’t quite appeal to me.
