Their was a variety of menu options. I chose some street tacos. They were tasty! The menu is a bit pricey but seemed worth it. I'll circle back again next time I'm in Phoenix and try a different item.
I ate at 3 in the afternoon and the place was empty! Maybe some advertisement is needed. Lol

Absolutely love El Jefe Tacos. The staff is so friendly and welcoming every time, and the owner is awesome — you can tell he puts his heart into the place. The carne asada is next‑level good, and the shrimp tacos are honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. Real, authentic Mexican flavors that taste homemade in the best way.

Great atmosphere, great people, amazing tacos. Easy five stars.

Overall food was spectacular. We had a cali burrito, 4 street taco of pastor, asada, carnitas and chicken. We also had a fish taco and the birria. All for $40! Cali burro & birria were mouth watering delicious! Will definitely come back!
