I went with some friends before we went to the theater. The chicken was not all that. They need to change their name from World Famous Fried Chicken. This chicken ain't so famous. The side dishes were awful. The mac and cheese was dry and also the collard greens were dry with no taste at all ?. How do you have dry collard greens?! I won't be back .

Came here for lunch and tried the chicken tenders, greens, mac and cheese, and fried pickles. The chicken tenders were big and crispy, which I loved. The greens and mac and cheese were good as well. The food was pretty hot, but that just means it's done fresh.

Had the Memphis Special of two thighs and two legs along with some baked beans, cole slaw and white bread. The chicken was crunchier than what I am used to, but it was very tasty, spicy just how I like it and the chicken meat was juicy. Beans and coleslaw were really tasty as well. I had some sweet tea which was the perfect cold drink for this meal. The service was my favorite part of the experience: the server was very polite and kind and she didn't allow me to run out of tea. My cup runneth over, indeed. Highly recommended for those craving fried chicken.

The food was delicious, our server was nice, and it was clean. We were visiting from Florida for the University of Phoenix graduation and wanted southern food. It’s only a few minutes from the Chase field! Don’t walk there RUN there! If we ever visit again I will definitely stop by! Oh & we only spent about $50 for a family of four! 10/10

Great food, great spot. The only thing was service. Our waitress was amazing. It just seemed they needed more staffing. The chicken was yummy ? I got the 3 piece tenders with baked beans and greens. Oh, the fried pickles were phenomenal. I would go back just for those!!! Definitely filling. If you are in downtown and love fried chicken, this is the spot.

Small little place with the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. Generous pieces with a very crispy breading. Slightly spicy. The staff were very attentive and made sure I had what I need. The sides were just as good and unique as the chicken. I had the fried okra and baked beans. They weren’t just the usual AZ take on southern sides. Each was excellent and unique on its own. Would definitely go again, but I might try the one on 16th street. Parking at this location is VERY LIMITED. I was fortunate to squeeze into the last spot on a Wednesday night at 7:30.Parking: The lot looks large on Google Maps, but 2/3 is reserved for the residents next door.
