Hana Sushi offers great sushi in the desert. This small, family owned establishment provides authentic, awesome, generous portions of sushi. The chef's skills shine through in the amazing flavors and textures of the sushi. The menu offers excellent selections, especially for eel lovers. From traditional rolls, nigiri, and izakaya appetizers to a Cali-fusion creation, all are made with caring and expertly trained hands, resulting in delicious cuisine. The sushi is some of the best, with fresh fish and huge pieces, like the tuna roll and yellowtail hand roll. The quality of fish was insane, and the scallion oil on top of the sashimi paired so well. To accompany the great cuisine is a wide variety of beer, sake, and an amazing selection of Japanese whiskey. While seating and parking may be a bit tight in the strip mall location, the quality of the food and excellent service make it worth visiting. The interior is clean and inviting, giving off mom and pop shop vibes. Hana Sushi is a must-try for sushi enthusiasts in Phoenix.
