The reservation system is trash. Don’t come if you don’t have reservations on a busy day like Friday. Hillstone, you should have designated seats for walk ins. When someone puts their name down, take their phone number so you TEXT THEM. You have people waiting an HOUR AND A HALF. And you have to be there at the restaurant so you can call their name. Then there’s a waitlist at the bar. Weird. Unorganized. Need a better system. The food is good though…..
I love this restaurant. The service and ambiance are top tier. I ordered the Chicken salad which was good but had almost NO dressing on it. I asked the server if I could have a little more dressing. She said she would have to “ask the Chef.” She came back and said No, that the salad was composed with a certain amount of dressing. I have managed fine dining restaurants for over 25 years. That was beyond lame. With wine, cocktails and drinks we spent over $250....
Have the smoked salmon appetizer, definitely amazing! And we also enjoyed the pink trout , which was delicious as well. We celebrated my wife's birthday and they charged us through the dessert.
