Been coming here for years the food is authentic Mexican food the workers are so nice they greet you with a smile it’s not a long wait time and the hot sauce is top tier I love me some La canasta

The best food in town but check to make sure your order is what you ordered and you have silverware and napkins and the sauce it comes with before you walk out the door because eating rice and refried beans with your fingers. Really sucks.

My daughter and I bought combo plates as take-out and paid $48 including medium sized drinks. The servings were smaller than usual, the salsa was not tasty at all just huge chunks of tomato. The beans weren't the original recipe. The rice was bland and the machaca was over salted. The service was fine as we were first in line. My mother would buy green chili pork burritos back in the day when there were no restaurant but just a small building in the front of 7th Avenue...
