This has been the best mexican place we have eaten at so far! I wish I had taken a picture of the original plate before digging into it. Great size portion, and their tamale were a huge portion!
La Canasta is my Mothers favorite place. She grew up in the neighborhood & worked there when she was 18 years old. I try to bring her once every few months. The visit never fails it always hits the spot. The food is always fabulous ❤️ We all had green burritos enchilada style.

I really like the hours. I had never been there before so I called ahead to see if they had dine in or take out only. I was pleased with the dine in. Very efficient ordering system. I tried the chicken tacos,rice and beans. Everything was so delicious. I like to try everything so we’re definitely coming back and my husband loved the red chili.
