About LATHA

LATHA is a restaurant offering a unique gourmet African cuisine experience. Located on the lawn of the science center, it provides a warm and chill atmosphere with live music. The staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the restaurant's history and cuisine. Standout dishes include flavorful wings, delicious sea bass, and a pound cake reminiscent of childhood memories. Guests have noted that the food is even better than advertised, with some mentioning the need to be cautious of spice and heat in certain dishes. The restaurant features beautifully decorated African-inspired decor and a shop with locally sourced goods. Visitors praise the excellent brunch, delightful hospitality, and delectable menu, which includes dishes like Dayboat Fish Moqueca, Pineapple Piri Piri Chicken, and Roasted Strawberries and Cream Cake. The venue feels cozy and intimate, perfect for special occasions, date nights, or family gatherings. The vibe is lively, especially with great live music on Fridays and Saturdays. Many customers appreciate the warm and friendly service, with every staff interaction coming with a smile. The patio dining experience is noted as amazing, especially with misters keeping it cool during hot days. Customers also enjoy the variety of drinks, including international beers like Dragon Stout Fire, which is highly recommended. Overall, LATHA provides a memorable dining experience with outstanding food, friendly service, and a vibrant atmosphere, making it a definite stop for anyone visiting Phoenix.
