Stopped in to get a quick bite and was pleasantly surprised. The diner is the original diner from the t.v. show Alice. The atmosphere was old diner, the food was plentiful and really good. I would definitely eat here again.
Good food and great service. Kept my coffee filled and checked up on us. I would definitely go again.
Had the Gyro omelet and the Gyro skillet. I didn't care for the biscuits and gravy as the gravy had no flavor, but everything else was worth it

Yesterday we ventured into Mel’s diner. It was the home of the TV show from yesteryear.
Nostalgia intrigued us to visit.
The building and area are old. That made us leery. The glitz and glam of a television show have passed. BUT, the food and service were incredible.
I would rank this...
