Just got done having an absolutely delicious dinner at Brody’s Italian in Paradise Valley off of Tatum Blvd. I asked the waiter if I should go with the lasagna or the chicken marsala. The waiter suggested chicken marsala and he definitely guided me in the right direction. It was an amazing delicious dinner. We ordered take-away on a Sunday afternoon for dinner. Order was ready at the time promised. The food was just ok. Don't get me wrong, good cooks have bad days so we will try Brody's again but the sauce (marinara) seemed processed and not scratch made. It lacked flavor or depth. First, we usually eat in. Atmosphere and service are great. This review is more for Brody's. I ordered pickup. Make your own pasta. I chose linguini with shrimp, artichoke, oil & garlic and basil. It was $41!! I justified the total with the fact that I could make 2 meals out of it. I was disappointed to find 3 pieces of shrimp and 3 pieces of artichoke. It was $12 to add shrimp, $2 to add oil and garlic (marinara is free?)?? and another upcharge for artichoke. Last time...
