I and two friends enjoyed the experience offered by Gertrude's. The service was excellent, the food was well prepared, the sound level allowed visiting without challenges. The slight hiccup was the flies. While there weren't many, they were intrusive. Overall it was a wonderful experience as the solar lights were just starting and created an amazing view while one ate and visited! We hope to go again!
This was our first time going since Mark Tarbell took it over. It was no surprise that our experience was fantastic. The food was amazing (I'm craving the vegan tacos) as were the drinks and service. Gertrude's will definitely be in our rotation in addition to The Tavern and Tarbell's.
What a great experience! Menu was diverse. I wanted to try several menu items. I had the pork stew. Excellent. Servings were large. Staff were welcoming and wanting to make our experience the best. They were successful! This is our second time at Gertrude's. It is a do over for sure.
