Worth the hype!Ambiance and service were great! Super friendly people and quaint, lively vibe inside.Quoted 1.25hr for a table, had cocktails and waited only 45 minutes.Apps were good, mozz needed salt in our opinion, ham wrapped cheese was super yum.Papperdelle had great texture but we felt it lacked seasoning.Pies were stellar on flavor and the outer crust was soooooo good. We had hoped for a little less flop at the center of the pie but didn't stop us from crushing 3!!!The deserts were absolutely a pleasant surprise. The tres lettuce cake was outstanding and the rice Gelato is something that we all found interesting and delicious. You can tell that there are still a lot of people who love what they do running this restaurant. Is everyone we encountered was extremely nice and helpful. We loved the very laid back.Feel of the space and felt zero pretension.Highly suggest checking this place out if you are in phoenix.
We ordered a Margherita pizza and the meatball sandwich. The pizza was great the meatballs had almost no flavor. The waitress was very inattentive. Also had an Aperol Spritz which was very good.

Of course this joint comes with a lot of hype so my standards were quite high especially since I visit Italy yearly and have had some incredible pizza. I had the basic green salad to start . It was just that , basic with a few olives . I found it to be extremely acidic. We ordered the Sonny boy which had sopressata and olives. I thought the pizza was ok. Soggy in the centre , rubbery mozzarella and the sopressata wasn’t that great either . The actual crust was nice and the tomato sauce was very good and authentic. Overall I give the pizza 6/10 . I would go back

This was a fun experience, but we went there with such high expectations after watching the Netflix special that it probably would’ve been impossible for the Pizza to live up to the hype. I’ve had better Neapolitan style pizza, but there is no doubt that this is very good and some very unique combinations of ingredients. The service was flawless, and the wait was much shorter than the estimated wait time. We went for an appetizer at the South American restaurant just across the sidewalk and it was excellent.

Got here shortly after open and was sat immediately. Service was exceptional the entire time. The pizza was some of the best I've ever had, you can tell that everything is made with high quality ingredients. There is a reason this place is famous. Absolutely will be back again if I am in the area.

The pizzas were delicious. I would recommend trying the Biancoverde for the arugula lovers, and the Rosa, which offers a unique twist with pistachios.A 45-minute wait for a party of four at 3 pm seemed steep, especially given that the restaurant was two-thirds empty. Luckily, we persisted in requesting alternative seating arrangements at the bar or elsewhere, seeing the restaurant was still underutilized, and we got seated after waiting about 20 minutes. However, once we were seated, the service was better. We even had the pleasure of meeting Chris Bianco. He was kind enough to personally ensure everything was up to standard. He went so far as to replace a pizza when he observed that the crust was more charred than he preferred.

Both of the pizzas we tried were excellently prepared and presented. Definitely worth the wait to be seated. The pizza crust is top notch, crisp yet some chew. Generous, proper, fresh toppings. Perfect proportions of cheese, sauce, toppings. Sat outside, weekday lunch, busy but not overly hectic. Bravo!

Food was absolutely amazing, but my waitress put in my total as her tip and I have yet to receive a call back from the location to get it sorted out...
We saw an episode of Chef’s Table on Netflix that highlights the owner, Chris Bianco, and had to try the pizza while vacationing Phoenix. Well worth the visit. Pizza was amazing. Also had the fresh mozzarella salad which highly recommend. Good wines. Looks like a cute outdoor patio but it was rainy when we were there. Wait time for a table was over an hour but able to enjoy drinks at their bar next door while waiting. Located in a strip mall so atmosphere inside is a bit different. Didn’t distract from great meal though.
So love this place! Hose Red, Fresh mozzarella, simple salad (w 3 perfect olives) and margarita pizza. Simple pleasures are the best!

We came for the outstanding pizza, it fell short. The big Sonny was tasteless. Red sauce was canned tomatoes so bland, the salami which should have flavour had none. Best thing on the pizza was the olives. The other pizza was the one with Rosa. The taste was interesting and much better than the red sauce pizza. Would never return and never recommend.
