It's been a few years since I've been to this location, and I stopped in for lunch today. The employees were nice, so no complaints there. The soda machine was broken, not good. The tuna poke was OK but the octopus was rubbery and it felt like I was chewing forever. This place was mid. The Ahipoke restaurant in Goodyear is way better.
The food is always super fresh and the add ons and menu are honestly great. It can seem pretty expensive for what it is, but the taste and quality are very good. The staff are always extremely attentive and fast to what you want to add to your bowl. A very solid place!
Mom and her friends have run sushi restaurants forever. Now, I travel a lot for work and it can be tough to find quick, healthy choices. Good poke restaurants at this level aren't that easy to find.
The fish and other ingredients were all fresh and seasoning was spot on. I felt so much better after eating here than elsewhere. Like others have said, you're not getting a bunch of rice..a good composition of all the ingredients to end up with a well composed...
