If I were to make a list of the thousand things I loved about being alive, Rubio's would be on it. Probably not in the top 100 but somewhere in the middle. Definitely above having the homeroom with the good pencil sharpener. That stopped being meaningful once I graduated junior high but my oh my how high we flew with our well-pointed tigonderogas. We were as gods once.

Fresh, well prepared food with friendly staff. It's really easy to under or over cook seafood , but never by Rubio's. I've been to several locations and never been disappointed. The different types of seafood are cooked perfectly every time, moist and delicious. Don't miss the salsas or sides --they're also fresh and well prepared.
