Absolutely delicious.
Tried the Pork Belly Bao Buns- the outside of the bun was fried in chili oil so it had a slight crunch to it that was super satisfying. A little to spicy for one of us but the other two loved it. Tried the Udon, Ramen, and Rice noodles and ezch person who ordered, thought their noodles tasted the best.
Also had the Miso Carrot Cake... I might dream about that in the future.
Absolutely will go back.
We were looking for late-night ramen in downtown Phoenix and ended up at Sosoba. Coming in about 45 minutes before closing, we figured the place would be pretty empty, but that definitely wasn't the case. Almost all the tables were full, which we took as a great sign that we picked the right spot. We ordered the katsu and mic drop ramens, and they came out pretty quickly. Tried the chicken katzu ramen and personally didn't like it. Everything was super bland and it seriously lacked flavor. I'm not sure about this but I got the feeling that it was made up of frozen stuff and not fresh ingredients. A bit pricey compared to the quantity that they provide. You will not be full. Also, they charge a service fee (I was charged $22) if you come in with 6 or more people. The tip is extra on top of the service fee so expect to give out nearly $45...
