If you’re looking for somewhere fun to go for a girls night look no further. We cannot stop talking about how good the espresso martinis were. 100/10 girls night. Star 78 should be your top pick for any occasion. Special shoutout to Scott, he took great care of us!
Great experience overall doing the murder mystery night. MC was new but kept it fun and quirky.
If I go back I would just do drinks though. The food needs some work. The type of food ideas are good, it's more on the execution of the food. For example the Tri-Tip was overcooked, desert was dry as a bone, and the dates were okay. If they can get that turned around easily 5/5 stars.

Star 78 Speakeasy in Phoenix is a hidden gem that delivers a full Prohibition-era experience. Tucked inside The Grove Café, this dark, vibey speakeasy sets the mood with strong craft cocktails, themed nights, and an immersive atmosphere. The highlight is The Case File interactive dinner series, which blends live mystery gameplay with great food and drinks—perfect for a unique date night or a fun group outing.
Guests loved the espresso martinis, calling them a 100/10 for a girls night. The murder mystery night was fun and quirky, and the staff did an amazing job narrating everything. The lady at the front of the coffee shop in a pink shirt was AMAZING, offering a complimentary drink and updates during a long wait, turning a 1 star experience into a 5 star.
