This place is an absolute gem hiding in plain sight in Ahwatukee. The fish was terrific both in quality and seasoning. For nigiri we tried the Kuro-Dai (Black Snapper) Chu Toro, and Albacore. The Albacore was the best I've had anywhere including places that charge nearly double what I paid here. Great sushi. Apparently this is the little sister restaurant of Hiro Sushi in Scottsdale. Their quality of the sushi was out of this world. It’s only a 3min drive from my house. I love it.
Worthy! Everything we ordered was above our expectations. Suggested tweaks from Chef Johnson elevated everyday standards. We are travelers through this area and found this gem of a sushi restaurant on recommend by previous online reviews. Now, will be a planned stop when we pass this way. Leo and his wife, 2nd Gen in the business, show their colors with a welcoming atmosphere and lively staff.
